Not much else can be said about Defense Dome, but that is only because there is not much to say. A small, barebones game that quickly loses its audience due to a lack of engagement and repetitive actions. Although it comes with a small price tag it still doesn't feel like a worthwhile purchase. Here's hoping the add-on content that is planned by HullBreach will add some much needed colour and variety to the game, but as it stands it misses the mark.
Minecraft clone U Craft development is nearly complete, according to HullBreach co-founder Randy Freer, and the game may allow user modifications.
Similar name, similar graphics and similar gameplay to Minecraft. Quite the clone. I predict a lawsuit from Microsoft. Nintendo should not be surprised. Nintendo has already sued a few developers for Mario clones.
The first U Craft screenshot was posted online by Wii U indie developer Hullbreach Studios on behalf of the Wii U Minecraft clone's anonymous developer.
That...actually doesn't look too horrible for a first screen.
I wonder what kinds of elements they're putting in; Minecraft got a ton of RPG-ish elements in the end, maybe the same will happen here?
Curious enough to watch news about it, not curious enough to want to buy it though. A minecraft clone is a minecraft clone. There's not much you could do to make your version better without losing out on other aspects of what make Minecraft fun.
I'm actually going to buy this just because the minecraft creator refused to put minecraft on Wii U, even though it is literally available everywhere else. For every sale he sees, it's a sign of a potential customer he lost by not releasing a Wii U version of the game.
For all we know this is just several cube primitives assembled in unity3D lol.
