Aylon from Gameplanet gets stuck into perhaps the most significant PS3 exclusive of the year - Metal Gear Solid 4.
Metal Gear Solid 4 does not deserve a score. It is not fair to rate it on the same level as other games. It's kind of like asking someone to rate Pac-Man or Space Invaders; sure you could do it, but you'd be wrong to. Metal Gear Solid 4 is more than just a game. Many will say it is like a game and a movie in one and they would be arguably right. It definitely feels like a hybrid of entertainment mediums, but unlike games such as Mass Effect which attempt to be interactive movies, Metal Gear Solid 4 mostly splits the two between playing and watching.

Honestly, i haven't seen a better movie this yr. Kojima NEEDS to have full say in the MGS movie so they don't fvk it up

I was like WTF?! not a 10 even with that kind of intro. then I went to the full review and I was convinced! really, this guy is good at words! -0.5 for being 'too good' but primarily too focused to the fans! but whatever, he said that MGS4 does not deserve to be rated the same way as other games and that's totally true! then he said that a lot of other games will look bad if compared to it! SOLIDLY TRUE!! it's a pun but I really hope other devs will take this challenge and produce more great titles and not just try to cash in money like many is currently doing!
