So, what was the developer’s decision to include it in Bloodborne? That’s one of the questions we asked Bloodborne Director Hidetaka Miyazaki during our chat with him at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Like a shotgun
Gonna get in trouble cause I laughed out loud at work.
this should have been the game Sony advertised heavily instead of that turd Destiny. they really should have aimed to release this game at November or December as PS4 doesn't have that must have this year. LBP, Driveclub and whatever obscure indies aren't going to sell consoles but Bloodbourne will. not that the PS4 isn't selling well. if PS4 sells this well with a lack of exclusives just imagine when they start to release them. we have the next PS2 people.
Well that "turd Destiny" that they advertised worked well for them as it saw a significant increase in sales. and about the nov-dec releases its going to depend on taste of consumers, besides the game is going to sell no doubt so to try and rush it to the market would be suicide so just let them take their time with it and perfect it, personally i will be busy playing Inquisition any way
Sales-wise Destiny was the complete opposite of a turd. The marketing campaign for it worked perfectly for Sony so i don't get what you're saying? And what's to say Bloodborne won't be heavily advertised?
What makes you think sony didn't heavily advertised Bloodborne? Did you not see that giant booth that sony made for Bloodborne in TGS? http://www.playstationlifes... "they really should have aimed to release this game at November or December" The game not finish yet and i don't want to play game full with bugs and glitches. "as PS4 doesn't have that must have this year. LBP, Driveclub and whatever obscure indies aren't going to sell consoles" sigh...i'm glad that you're not the one who manage what games that going sell and which one is not for PS4.
If rumours are true about the online features for Bloodborne, the game is going to be massive and Sony would be wise to treat it as such. And so you know, I don't want a rushed product so February 2015 is fine with me. PS4 will stay competitive this holiday. Early 2015 is looking damn good already and gladly, Sony paces their exclusive content throughout the year so I don't have to wait until the holidays to get excited about a lineup of games.
Didn't they use guns in Shadow Tower Abyss for PlayStation 2? Demons Souls is sort of a spiritual successor to that game and Bloodborne is the successor to the Souls games. Strange he'd say that... Edit: yes I know, STA was first person, but it was similar to Bloodborne with dual weapons, one being a gun.
That was a great game btw. Thanks for the trip down memory lane
Everytime I see footage of bloodborne I get chills of excitement (reminds me of when god of war made its introduction). I am struggling with having to wait for this one! Game on.
Glad they distanced it from the Souls series when it came to combat. It looks similiar, but they completely changed it with guns and everything else they have added. Can't wait for this to come out!
it turned out to be just right about this game
my initial reaction to upon hearing there would be guns was: NO!.......but after seeing how they'll be used, I'm very ok with it - nice to see tweaks in gameplay that work.
Can't wait! Demon/Dark Souls were brilliant! Possibly my favorite games last gen. Enjoyed Dark Souls 2 but felt it wasn't quite as good as others. I think Miyazaki didn't direct 2nd one and feels like it shows. Bloodborne looks like classic Souls series done Nextgen! Must buy for me!
