Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) and Monolith Productions released the Shadow of Mordor – Everything You Need to Walk into Mordor Trailer
All finished content held back from the game to be sold off as DLC, too common this-gen.. It just keeps getting worse with held back "DLC" and other games with microtransactions in full priced ($59.99) games. Could be worse, could be like Destiny and have all the "DLC" locked on the disc.
I agree, but in a way I cant complain. I dont have alot of money so I buy most my games pre-owned, or rent them. However I know this doesnt support devs/publishers very well so I make an effort to buy atleast some DLC for the games I appreciate. If I bought all my games full priced, this would bother me ALOT more!
So long as people pay for it and developers make profit from it, dlc and season passes aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
It's funny cause the actual LEVELS aren't on the f*cking Destiny disc, or someone would've found the level, not the entrance, or destinations on the map, which proves nothing. If they actually find these levels, or the code for the whole level, then I'll believe these rumors. I guess Destiny is the popular game to hate now. Fantastic.
It was a glitch that revealed entrances, just wait til hackers/modders have a go at it now, that will tell us if the levels are actually there. It's popular to hate because it disappointed many people, personally I could tell the game was garbage even before I played the BETA, the BETA itself just confirmed everything I thought about the game, so it's gonna get hated on like all these other popular games that are terrible like CoD.
Gotta pay to fight Sauron, game just became a bargain bin purchase from me, rather than a day one. DLC crap.
Gotta love that good ole' season pass!!! /s I would f'n buy a game that I didn't even want DAY ONE if the dev comes out and says we're against the season pass so all content will be unlocked day one. Seriously I would.
As long as it's not a JRPG I would do too
Maybe I'll buy a story mission if it's sold seperate but won't be paying 25$ to earlier access to challenge maps
does anyone know how to install the full 27gb on ps4? which was just the preload how do i install the rest?
When you go to download it, the file will say 4000somethingMB. When that is done go to the tile(with the rest of your games) for Shadow of Mordor. Press the options button, go down to information, and you will see it is downloading the full 28GB. You can watch it's progress there, or put your ps4 into standby mode to let it download and install. It'll say how many gigs it has downloaded out of 28. When completed it will actually say "complete". You don't actually have to do anything for it to download.
I also pre-loaded the game and have it installed. I just can't actually play it until tomorrow. I believe the game comes in compressed, then expands once game is unlocked.
Season pass?? For this game? Good lord forget it. Everyone trying to pull a COD now even RPGs.
I'm becoming very seasoned at passing on these season passes.
Show that you care about gaming as a hobby and media people. Do NOT support this type of business model. Boycott all DLC and Season Passes.
Those lazy devs don't deserve a cent. Messing up the X1 version and now they want extra money.
The only dlc I would pay for, are game expansions. Not armor, new weapons, multiplayer maps (unless I really like and play that certain game with multiplayer.)
Well, considering that I got the Premium on PC for only $30, the Season Pass isn't so bad this time around. I do agree though that DLC is getting ridiculous the past few years. :/
That was such a poorly made and uninspired video that mentioned unique and epic runes too often. What happened to unlocking content by beating the game like the old days?
Was about to buy it, but I won't support season passes. Goty edition for me.
I will wait for a year to pick up "special" edition.
I paid £24 for the Shadow of Mordor Premium Edition PC on CDKEYHOUSE (it's now £27) so I don't mind!
