GameShark: Metal Gear Solid 4 Review

To be certain, this is the penultimate hardcore game. While it introduces a number of innovations, its core remains in tune with classic console gaming. Peppered throughout are moments that clearly hearken back to older installments or other games, yet it modernizes them in a way that ensures the experience is fresh and carries artistic value. More than a mere sequel, Metal Gear Solid 4 is a representational masterpiece to be remembered well beyond the years of this generation. (Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, PS3) A/A+

Game is that real
it's not a 2 button game so I guess that makes it a hardcore's hardcore game but it is a masterpiece that any gamer should experience. I'd say the same about Mario 64, World of Warcraft, Halo 1, Super Metroid, and Final Fantasy VII.

IF this is the "penultimate" hardcore game, what is the ultimate hardcore game then?
