D4 review: fire walk with D | Polygon

D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die is absolutely one of the weirdest games you'll play this year.

The story is too old to be commented.

This is a really wacky OTT Japanese style game. I completed it over the weekend and really liked it but yeah, it might not be for everyone's tastes. This oozes Swery's trademark style.

Funnily enough, it works really well with Kinect as well (although I ended up using the controller).

is it complete or still more episodes to come?

poppinslops1458d ago

This is just the beginning.

Septic1458d ago

You get a prologue and 2 episodes. Definitely more to come.

NewMonday1458d ago

dose it have a set schedule? number of episodes like Teltail games?

poppinslops1457d ago

Nobody knows (Swery might)...

I'd expect more before year's end.

It's utterly bonkers, but in a good way, I am really enjoying it!!!

For as weird as this games is, it's really well put together. The presentation is top notch, and the Kinect controls are nearly flawless. I REALLY hope MICROSOFT continues with this series.

Started playing yesterday, this is definitely the game Kinect needed. Hope MS has some more soon to come.
