Yesterday DualShockers had a chance to have a pleasant chat with Kadokawa Games Director of Sales and PR Juntaro Kouno, and he revaled a very interesting detail.
Another new game from FROMSOFTWARE? Maybe a new Kings Field or 3d dot heroes?
They also have Armored Core.
Yep probably that for the Japanese audience -_-
They had Armored Core. Then they mismanaged it into the ground.
FROM have in the past aired a desire to return to the King's Field IP. So, who knows?
A 3D dot heroes sequel would be awesome, it was seriously underrated game.
I bet it's Dark Souls 2 for new gen consoles.
Ding, ding, ding
Kadokawa aren't going to be announcing a new Bandai Namco property.
maybe a collection
Why and how would they. Kadokawa owns From Soft not souls-series.
@novurdim Is FROM software big enough to have a 3rd game far enough along to show in a little over a year . not to mention continue to work on dlc for 2 games .
>Is FROM software big enough to have a 3rd game far enough along to show in a little over a year That's not the point. They may simply announce the fact of the development and work on it next year, I don't know. The point is that Kadokawa can't really do anything souls-related. They don't own the IP.
@novurdim i didn't know FROM doesn't own the dark souls ip , i knew sony owns the bloodborne and demon souls , somebody at FROM is making bad deals if they don't own anything the make .
*Holds up Tenchu sign*
I want it so much....
Demon's Souls 2 for Vita(if only).
Would like that a lot.
That would be for Sony to announce, not Kadokawa.
Open world Tenchu game.
4D dot heroes, using kinect? that would be a blow
Wonder if Microsoft has an exclusive game coming From Software too.
Doubt it. Most of FROM's sales are in the local market. That's their key demo. Dark Souls and its sequel are outliers--abberations.
Still hoping for Rodea Sky Soldier on 3DS
Lollipop Chainsaw 2 please :)
Armored Core 6 for next gen
If they're games Kadokawa is announcing, then they're not going to be Namco Bandai properties. They're going to be either new IP or manga tie-ins.
