Twinfinite writes "Have you ever had your anger transcend from your gaming console to your body? How about thrown your remote? Then these are 5 games you MUST NOT PLAY."
I snapped a SNES controller board playing the original Mario Kart. Was racing one time and then all of a sudden I lost all directional control. So I then took my controller apart to realize I had snapped the internal board in half. I didn't even realize I was bending the controller that much while I was playing. I've calmed down since then though. XD
Why stop at Ninja Gaiden? Every Nes-era game was impossibly hard compared to today's offerings.
i think he was referring to the new ninja gaiden since he used the new graphics. but yes nearly all nes games should make the list.
Couldn't agree more. The Mega Man games (especially the first one), Friday the 13th, Battletoads and one that pisses me off just thinking about it: Silver Surfer...my God.
Where is Friday The 13th on NES?
HELL YES on Friday the 13th. That game and jaws drove us to fits of rage. We actually made it all the way to Jason's Mothers floating head once and then we died ...AND HAD TO START ALL OVER! Eff that - we went outside instead.
Used to play it all the time as a kid so I understand why it's their. You kill Jason and he keeps coming back stronger. There's no end to him :(
I'm glad Faster Than Light got some love on this list. That game will completely stop you in your tracks and make you restart even if you think you're doing good.
One game that made me get mad as a kid was Jak 2. I'm not sure if the game was actually that hard, but I struggled through it as a kid.
I kicked a hole in my wall after getting beat by the Celtics in NBA Jam. I was young, and ever since I've been fairly rage free, save for some swearing during Dark Souls ;)
Luckily I live in a brick house, If I did that I would just break a bone in my foot...
The inside of your house is made of bricks?
If you have rage quit issues you should learn to control your temper.
Let's see: Ninja Gaiden, DK64 (the race), one of the Burnout games and the toy plane missions in the second city of San Andreas. The only instances i have ever found myself raging in games in my life for no reason whatsoever. I can't believe it, but i never raged in Mario Party and i still have my N64 controllers fully functional and whole.
Oh my God, DK64's race against that gymnastic beetle thing...
Dark Souls is not hard, you just gotta have patience, if you get in thinking you're KRATOS you're gonna suffer big time;)..by the way I love GOW...
Stay away from fighting games online. Not only is everyone better than you, it also lags haha. RAAAAAHHHH!!! LET ME HIT YOU LKGHS:LKGH!
I guess Super Meat Boy deserves a mention here. Watching all your deaths after successfully completing a level is a great touch.
Volgarr the Viking got under my skin a couple days ago.
I think the Binding of Isaac should be on this list as well.
Add to those game are DOTA 2, LoL and HON...
Omg, this. The rage becomes real when there's 4 other people losing for you.
Add Street Fighter 4 in online mode. Mario Kart? Are you serious?
Any fighting game in online mode.
And of course add Counter Strike.
When I was a kid it was Ghosts and Goblins, no doubt. And Contra. The Konami code was/is legendary. I played Contra so much in fact, at one point I had every enemy and their movements memorized and could beat the entire game without dying a single time. Good times.
SOCOM 2 was the worst for me. I broke a lot of hardware like headsets, controllers, and even a PS2 playing that game.
Chivalry. Play a duel, have a good fight then BAM, they slip a feint in that throws you off and they kill you. I've broken several tables because of this
