The Biggest Disappointments of Blockbuster Season 2014

Mikael Von Stroot for Fully 'Avin It writes: As gamers we all look forward to and dread in equal measure the months from September to December. After what is usually a barren spell for new game releases over the harsh summer months (or rainy months if you live in the UK) September usually ushers in Blockbuster season where all the biggest developers release a ton of their biggest and supposedly best games. "scientific formula that is: “Hype + Cinematic Trailer + Wii U / Activision + GTAV – Release Date x Whatever the hell we want to write = Disappointment”. See, science."

"Our super science formula though unfortunately means I can see terrible to mediocre reviews"

Sorry but i think your formula was computed by a brainless chimpanzee. Not sure if trying to be funny or is just a babbling buffon meme

"Over the next 18 months we have seen another trailer and some gameplay footage that looks less than sharp"

Even though every piece of footage we've seen has been outstanding , and just about every preview for SSO has been overwhelmingly positive

"Forza Horizon 2 and The Club are going to be released during this last three months of the year means that one of them has to leave someone disappointed and the fact that The Club is a game that no one is really expecting anything from means it isn’t going to me that"

What a comprehensive analysis, Einstein.

Ok but why then why did you label it as an opinion piece instead of satire? because that influenced the way i approached the article. If it were a satirical piece, i would have laughed along with it.

Surely that first bit you quoted gave away the fact that it's tongue in cheek. It's just someone having an opinion.

Some people really need to lighten up when reading things about video games.

The writer of the article obviously doesn't own a Wii U. The Bayonetta butt hurt is strong with this one.
