At TGS, Sony announced that licensed developers for Playstation will be getting the newest Unity engine for Playstation for free.
Well that's nice of them. Saves everyone what $1,500?
Great for small indie developers on a shoestring budget.
Awesome now they can concentrate on creating games rather than worrying about fees.
Wow that's good to hear, it will benefit all the developers who are willing to support and make games for PS platforms
This just shows what a class act Sony is. Literally no one else would do this. Sony takes care of its people.
MS did the same thing months ago http://venturebeat.com/2014...
Let him dream..
If you read that article Ninendo and Sony had already done it outside Japan before Microsoft. Guess they were just rehashing it??
So did Crytek, so did Epic, so did Valve & many others! This is still a great move by Sony but your comment wreaks of desperation & is quite sad really..
Nintendo give it free for everyone who are licensed to develop on Wii U
Except everyone else did it first, moron
Serious question: cant developers just pirate it?
Thats not a serious question.
Selling a game you've made with pirated software is risky business. If anyone finds out, you're screwed for obvious reasons.
be well funny that wouldnt it. making a AAA game with pirated software haha.
