Bungie may have left the Halo series behind, but they certainly haven't forgotten their legacy. Astute players exploring on the planet Mars may find a tower that, when looked upon from the correct angle, resembles the Master Chief's helmet.
It barely even looks like him. i was expecting to see a whole lot more shape or a character with the spitting image. Two overcast lights, orange interior, and a banner is probably enough for you to THINK of him, but it doesn't feel like it's representing him in the same sense.
Funny seeing master chief on Ps4 lol
While we are talking about the big green fella why did no one tell me big battle on halo 4 is so fun . I never played it as I moved to pc even though I collected it had not played it until now .The box set hype got me keen to try it wow way better than Halo 3 online.
Dang...finally something exciting happened in this game. Tears of joy flowing from my eyes seeing the glorious Master Chief. 😂 You gotta wonder now if Destiny was originally going to be only a xbox exclusive since this has a Halo easter egg but MS refuse to fund it and Bungie decide to make it on all platform as I have a hard time believing Sony would want to see a MS product promoting on their system.
Destiny was never Xbox-only. Bungie bought their independence from MS for a reason, they wanted to work with a different publisher because they clearly didn't enjoy working for MS. And it's just an easter egg, I highly doubt anyone at Sony cares, and it's not really "promoting" Halo.
As I recalled, MS has a first right of refusal to publish future IP developed by Bungie as part of the contract to give Bungie its independence. It took them 6 years to make the game and many of the game assets were already in placed so it is not totally impossible that they were expecting MS to publish the game for them. Here is the details: http://www.dailytech.com/Bu... Microsoft will retain an unstated equity interest in Bungie, and will continue a publishing agreement between the developer and Microsoft Game Studios for Halo intellectual property as well as other future properties developed by Bungie – corroborating reports that Microsoft will hold the “first right of refusal” for an unknown number of titles.
yet the halo influence is HEAVY! This was their chance to break out!
