Destiny - Hunter Class Guide: How to Create the Best Gunslinger or Bladedancer

Bill Lavoy (Prima Games): One of the first decisions that players will have to make in Destiny is which class of character they want to become. Whether you choose Titan, Hunter or Warlock is completely dependent on your style of play, and should you wish to switch things up somewhere down the line, you are able to create up to three characters per account. I just started as the Hunter class. How is everyone liking this class so far? I don't have to time to invest in multiple classes but I figured the hunter class was the most similar to Zero from Borderlands which I was a big fan of.

I have a level 26 hunter with maxed out bladedancer stuff and nearly max gunslinger. Overall I'm having a blast, teleport in pvp is very satisfying to use and can bring about some hilarious moments. That said, hunters have the weakest grenades and ultimately feel very squishy. For pvp I wouldn't want any other class but solo pve stuff they're not as good as sunslinger and the titan class.

I'm rank 21 and I am having a blast. I didn't think that I would enjoy the Hunter class as much as I do. I tried all three classes in the Alpha and only did Warlock and Hunter in the Beta. Ultimately, I chose Hunter class because I really wanted to see the Bladedancer subclass. Hunter's grenades kinda suck. But, he makes up for it with mobility (aside from jump height), speed, and being able to clear out multiple normal leveled enemies (no yellows or shielded) with ease and most importantly STYLE!!!
