May the Codes Be Ever in Your Favor

On Friday, Nintendo made a bold move, one that caused a hellstorm to hit the internet: they released redeemable codes for a demo version of Super Smash Bros for the 3DS. What was intended to be a reward for their most loyal customers has turned into the Hunger Games as people have fought tooth and nail to get their hands on one of these precious codes. What’s all the fuss about? The public demo is coming out in a few days; couldn’t people just wait a little while longer?

I'm definitely interested in this game...but not sure how it'll play on a handheld.

it surprisingly isn't awkward at all, its just like playing on a gamecube controller with out the availability of the c-stick. Im using the original 3ds and i have no issues with the control scheme i do find my self jumping with up on the circle pad more than i do with x or y when i use gamecube controller. Don't know why it just happens but short hopping is a kit easier on 3ds compared to a gamecube controller on brawl.

After playing a few rounds it most definitely feels weird on a handheld, I'll be waiting for the Wii U version to get fully immersed.

Yeah it did feel weird, but I just wanted a taste of it before the Wii U version arrives.

I was lucky enough to get an email but I no longer have a 3ds so I gave one code to my brother who is a pokemon streamer to play on stream and the othesr to him for give aways. I still haven't played it myself I want the wii u version nothing against the 3ds obviously but I have bad eye sight and have to look at a tiny screen so I'd rather wait til November for the wii u version

It is a little odd on handheld but still more than playable until the main event ;)

I'm kind of angry that I've been platinum every year for the last few years, but I didn't get a code. I don't really mind waiting for a week, but I deserved a code...
