This week's issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu had a nice article on Capcom's upcoming PS4 exclusive Deep Down, and in it Producer Kazunori Sugiura gave an update on the status of development.
Awww I'm guessing this game will come out Summer or Fall 2015
So Ps4 owners get Witcher 3 , Bloodborne , Persona 5 , Dragon Quest and Deep Down in 2015 ... thats really awesome for Rpg fans .
About time too.
lol! the most amazing thing is... Four of these games are exclusives! 2015 will be a ugly year for X-1 if Ps4 keep geting these jap. exclusives! Note: playstation Exclusives, not "Ps4 exclusives".
2015 is going to be awesome! So many different RPG's....YEAH!
I can't wait!!
As long as it comes to the west!
Sounds like a Holiday 2015 release.
That's what I'm thinking. edit: or spring 2016
Only 60% ??? Man, i hate it when they announce games way too early.
So do I. That's when the hype starts to backfire (WD)
But we see the process of where it started and all the way to the final product. The game has come a long way.
@master-h I see your point, but people complain either way. If they don't announce games, people ask "where are all the games?".
Yup. 4th quarter of 2015 confirmed.
60%?! What does that mean?! If its been in production for 2 years already that means another TWO YEARS!! How can they even know it will take that long or the percent they're at? It really doesn't mean jack. They could say 90% done and the game can still be delayed for another 6 months. I like new I for about games I'm looking forward to, but a percentage of completion isn't anything to go by IMO
drive club v2 then was meant to get a beta in feb this yr
Better slow and possibly good then rush it out and forget it in a month because its underwhelming.
Sounds like Destiny.
Do you even have Destiny?
Looks great, but I am a tad wary of some of the games taking so long to develop seemingly... free to play or not. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a polished complete product, but what looked innovative and impressive years ago, once it finally releases, inevitably loses some of that luster (and only in rare instances matches or exceeds them).
Wasn't this game supposed to launch with ps4?? Now it's 60 percent complete! Unbelievable
When was it a launch game?
Back in late 2014, the devs said they were hoping to get a Beta of the game out in Japan in 2015. They never mentioned a release date as far as i am aware...
But it's still free-to-play right? then I'm not really interested :-/
Probably pay to win. It will be riddled with microtransactions. Of course you could try to fight a heavily armored dragon with the 4" dagger you get for free... Seriously making this an online only F2P game was a mistake. They should make a full retail release with a full offline mode to reach more buyers.
Yet another game that I feel is unnecessarily hampered by being online only. This trend of online single player is sickening. Already too many games I would have bought if they didn't require an internet connection to play the basic part of the game that hass been bread and butter since video games' inception.
