Paul Rustchynsky confirmed the install size of Driveclub and added that the PSN preorder should be available starting from next week.
can i preload the ps+ edition ?
Not really sure about that. There's a bit of confusion about these different editions.
Not too bad. It's crazy how quick a ard drive can be filled with just games.
Yea def should have included a bigger hard drive with these consoles. Luckily I have a 1 TB in my PS4 (already filling up) and a 2TB external on my One.
Just picked up a 3tb for my xone. Thinking of switching out my ps4 1tb for a 2tb but how would that work with my existing game saves?
@DaGR8JIBRALTAR you back up your game saves to a flash drive, install the new drive, then reinstall your games and restore the save data.
What uth11 said, its really easy
Right there with ya. I'm at almost 75% of my drive. I think it's time to invest in an external.
Welcome to the PC world. It's brutal watching your hard drive fill up and then deciding which game has to go.
Quite small, I would have expected more for the shiny shiny graphics.
Anemic car list is the culprit.
@Torque_CS_Lewith: Anemic car list? How did you come to that conclusion? Do you have any proof its directly related to the install size of the game?
Um yeah...more content, more data...I mean this isn't rocket science guy. The free M5 dlc for Forza 4 alone was 450mb. Granted, it had Vista mode but that only goes to prove my point; more content more data!
I don't understand if they mean 17GB for the download or 17GB for the unpacked install on the hard drive. In the article, he said compressed down to 17GB. If the download size is 17GB, then unpacking the game would be closer to like 30GB. Can anyone clarify what the download size is, because this article seems off to me.
Thats small...downgrade confirmed?
Really? Come on...
Lmaooo that sure didn't take long.
That's excellent news, my PS4 hard drive is filling up so fast
hope we see external hd support in a update soon
My body is ready.
Any word on g25 support? Otherwise i can't justify the purchase.
Try asking Paul, he's usually quick with these answers.
Logitech stopped all support of racing wheel accessories for racing games, they lost me as a customers and i had to get rid of my G27 racing wheel. I ended up buying the Thrustmaster T-80 racing wheel, the only PS4 wheel compatible and licensed for Driveclub, The Crew and F1 2015 (i'm sure more racing games will get added to the list). Didn't mind buying another racing wheel because i'm definitely not missing out on Driveclub, not to mention its only $99 and i got the wheel stand as well.....the T-80 racing wheel is compatible with the PS3 too. Just a reminder, if people decide to get the wheel stand pro for the T-80 wheel to be sure to get the Wheel Stand Pro V2 (version 2) because the regular Wheel Stand Pro bottom base is to big for the T-80 gas and brake pedal part and won't align properly like its supposed to.
So glad they doing a psn+ version , I'll upgrade to full game end of November , splash out on that and GTA which is also a must have , 17 gig is way under what I thought the install for psn+ version would be ,excellent I suppose.
17gb compressed. When it is unpacked onto your hard drive, it will likely be double that.
Still better to uncompress after download instead of downloading a uncompressed file , no worries if you are on mega fast broadband , avoid at all cost if stuck on 1.5 Meg a second like me.
Day one. Drive Club looks awesome and I cant wait to take it for a spin. This will be the hardest console "end of the year" for me in years.
Wasn't this game supposed to be free?
There's a full version for both disc and digital. I don't know if they've told us what will be in the full versions, but they did say the free PS+ version will still be meaty. Filled with enough content that you'll be able to get the Platinum Trophy without buying it.
