Oculus to Launch 'Beta' Consumer HMD in Summer 2015

VRFocus - Oculus VR, the company behind the modern revival of virtual reality (VR) and the Oculus Rift development kits, are set to launch a public 'beta' for the consumer version of their head-mounted display (HMD) next summer, it has been revealed to VRFocus and TechRadar. The distribution will be handled by the company internally and will be strictly limited in number.

Wonder if it'll be available to the public. I want one, but I want the best version. If it's Beta I think I'll pass for now.

Does this mean it will release in 2016?

Ok. This is going a lot slower than it was supposed to. I'm hoping they have something amazing planned. Loving the DK2.
