There system seems unexistent over there

GiantEnemyCrab3751d ago

Maybe that is why MS is continuing to try and crack that nut. MS isn't going to give up on it obviously and it seems they are getting more and more Japanese dev's behind the system to help it in that region.

Yes, Xbox 360 is doing bad in Japan. JRPGs are coming to the Xbox 360 either way, so the gamer comes out on top.

Agree~
MS now focus on their Asia market since their Western market seem stable with all the first-party exclusive coming up. Though I don't know how much money they put in for SO4 exclusive, but their RPG line up will revive X360 sales in Asia market for sure.

japan hates everything that is not japanese.

Kami3751d ago

yeah they do.
have you ever heard the saying that goes like this "you love Japan, but Japan hates you".

Bnet3433751d ago

I heard Japanese hate Koreans. Especially when Ichiro of the Japan baseball team talked a lot of sh*t about Korea.

If Microsoft is getting more Japanese developers how come I don't see that much JRPGs exclusive for that console and don't count Star Ocean 4 as an exclusive considering they didn't announce it being one neither

I mean if Microsoft is getting more Japanese people developing more for there system you would think some of them would be exclusive I mean truly exclusive not this (time exclusive!) crap I don't know it seems later on there just going to port there games to PS3.

The B-quality ones, at best.

Hellraizer3751d ago

At least there is a current gen console with decent jrpgs on it. And I wouldnt call Tri-Ace RPGs "B-ones", the mistwalker stuff was good, nothing groundbreaking, but the 360 has some enjoyable jRPGs.

I rather wait for the next epic thing than play something barely "decent". If I was game starved, then maybe, but there is a last gen console with more JRPGs than all current consoles combined, and there is not a chance in hell anyone has played them all. The funny thing is I can play them all on my PS3, and nowhere else.

You say Tri-ace is good, but have you even played Infinite Undiscovery? Yeah, thought so.
