A video which looks at Dead Rising 3 on the PC and compares it to the Xbox One original back to back.
The Dead Rising series has enjoyed a long and storied history over the years, but which game in the series is best?
Over the last week, Jake has been going back to the Dead Rising 2 Off The Record remaster and has been an absolute blast. When he was 15 he first got his Xbox 360 and Dead Rising with it, it was unlike any other experience. It made him wonder though, what happened to the Dead Rising series.
Interesting timing. This retrospective was released just a few days ago: https://youtu.be/Et-cKSrWuc...
They took away the depth and charm of the game that made it fun and interesting, and made it into a generic zombie killing game.
This was the series the got me to buy an Xbox 360. The first one was so good. It still had horror elements. As it went on it became kind of a parody. Never forget getting Zombie Genecider achievement and then restarting the game to get the Mega Buster. That thing was monstrous against enemies.
VGChartz's Patrick Day-Childs: "2020 is upon us! The past decade has had some downs, like the influx of monetisation within full games, Blizzard's community backlash and EA winning the worst company in America award twice, but also some ups, like the leaps in understanding gaming from more mainstream companies to wholesome news like gamers helping preserve a controller signed by someone’s deceased mum.
The decade has also been the highlight of some… bizarre news, and I decided collect together some of the more obscure and quirky stories to make you giggle or question what the hell happened this decade."
The is obviously brighter, ms need to fix the darkness of some of the games. Sometimes it works & other times it doesn't. I thought they fixed the crushed blacks, unless they're are using an old video instead of one with the updated removal of the crushed blacks. Either way DR3 was a good games, had a lot of fun & can't ait for another.
Kind of stupid to complain about a game that was finshed before console release vs an almost 1 year later PC version. Xbox One specs have even changed.
But if your happy just to have a pc version then great:) Enjoy.
I agree that this game is pretty dark when i'm playing it.
I turned on the Xbox One Dead Rising 3 to compare these compressed videos to the actual game on my tv. These videos give the X1 no credit at all. My X1 in person on my tv makes both of these videos look bad. Yeah we all know that these videos are lower quality than the actual game but they don't even have the standard hues, vividness, and other key tones right. The PC version must be great on ultra settings. You got to try it for yourself. It's the best Dead Rising for sure.
