A video which looks at Dead Rising 3 on the PC and compares it to the Xbox One original back to back.
The is obviously brighter, ms need to fix the darkness of some of the games. Sometimes it works & other times it doesn't. I thought they fixed the crushed blacks, unless they're are using an old video instead of one with the updated removal of the crushed blacks. Either way DR3 was a good games, had a lot of fun & can't ait for another.
Microsoft <3's them some crushed blacks, main reason why I couldn't stand the 360, colors looked too saturated and cartoonish.
I played both, PC is brighter by a lot but you can change this. regardless of it the textures and a lot of the game looks much the same. the only differences is the res increase and the ability to "hack" the performance.
Kind of stupid to complain about a game that was finshed before console release vs an almost 1 year later PC version. Xbox One specs have even changed. But if your happy just to have a pc version then great:) Enjoy.
How have the Xbox One specs changed?
I think he's referring to the latest SDK that helped Diablo 3 reach 1080P.
@Krypto_Joe SDK means Software development kit, specs = hardware so if he was referring to that he'd be wrong.
I agree that this game is pretty dark when i'm playing it.
I turned on the Xbox One Dead Rising 3 to compare these compressed videos to the actual game on my tv. These videos give the X1 no credit at all. My X1 in person on my tv makes both of these videos look bad. Yeah we all know that these videos are lower quality than the actual game but they don't even have the standard hues, vividness, and other key tones right. The PC version must be great on ultra settings. You got to try it for yourself. It's the best Dead Rising for sure.
Yeah I agree, never liked dead rising til I played 3, now im looking forward to 4.
There's hardly any difference between the two. I guess a rushed port is better than nothing.
The PC version can be played at 60 fps and at native 1080p, that alone makes a big visual difference, looking at compressed vids arnt going to show you this. And once the mods start rolling out, the gap will only get further.
Take a look at total biscuits vid on the game, the PC version looks far far better than the xbone version. As soon as you click that 1080p button on the game it makes it look like you where wearing badly made glasses on the xbone version. http://youtu.be/gE0ZgbBAYF8...
Gameplay video's at higher 60 fps are showing up everywhere now https://www.youtube.com/wat...
totally agree long time xbox user but i cant stand the crushed blacks much longer, a new machine might well be in order
wow too bright on the pc
Yeah if only we could alter gamma, contrast etc. But because consoles are SOOOOOOOOOOOO superior with "better" (ahahah) exclusives, PC can't adjust these settings can they. Because consoles are sooooo much better.....................
Hahaha..Brilliant "Too Bright on PC". That's like saying it's too loud on X1.
For anyone looking for a much better comparison here's digital foundry's side by side comparison: https://www.youtube.com/wat... in my opinion the xone version looks better maybe due to the brightness idk but the pc version looks like shit its a disgrace to the pc gaming community.
I dont think xbox one is using any aa but other than that looks the same
