Can the Xbox One finally start playing catch-up to the PS4 now? I worry Microsoft have left it too late, but at least they've released an Xbox One bundle without a Kinect included.

Haha no MiddleEast is Sony's playground , everyone i know there has a playstation console , rare are the ones who had an xbox so i dont think the XboxOne will do good .

every game store in Gulf countries imports both from america and Europe and had the X1 since launch, so this wont make a difference.

I don't think they have. Although arabs are loyal, so they'll probably make a huge dent in the PS market. I hope they do though!

They are unfortunately still short on territories, the PS4 is currently at 74 while the Xbox will soon be at 42. Anyways the gap is closer faster than expected.

Doesn't Playstation4 outsell the Xbox1 in every, if not most countries where they're both released? I don't understand how this "gap" will close when the Xbox One can't outsell the Playstation 4 on a global level.

Well according to Sony after E3 they released a PR statement they ship the PS4 to 100 countries not 74

Sony playstation is a global brand and x box isn't. Its next to impossible to catch up to a global brand if you don't sell in the same places at the same time!

Even last gen Microsoft numbers are not entirely accurate. They often ended up selling two consoles to the same person because of the three red rings of death. But if you look at officials numbers sold Microsoft still won last gen by selling 2 million extra consoles up till now. Sony is around the 82 to 83 million. Microsoft is over 85 million.

But like i said Sony would likely have won last gen only the three rings of death inflated the Microsoft numbers.

Sony will win this gen, but Microsoft will reduce the gap.

I believe they were both tied.

"But if you look at officials numbers sold Microsoft still won last gen by selling 2 million extra consoles up till now. Sony is around the 82 to 83 million. Microsoft is over 85 million."

Such a liar, KNWS.

You continually make this claim and don't substantiate it anywhere with facts. I implore you to post sources next time instead of trying to peddle those lies if you want people to take you seriously.

"Microsoft will reduce the gap."

No… they won't. It just flopped in Japan. It starting to release in other regions, but it won't make a big splash anywhere. Every region that Microsoft releases in, Sony will CONTINUE to outsell them. So you can keep peddling the same weary, inaccurate arguments until they become null and void with each passing country, or you can just stop trying to damage control and accept the facts as they stand.

"Anyways the gap is closer faster than expected."

Good lord… this is going to be a fun generation.

Cant wait for sales numbers so we can cross "Tier 2" markets off the chalkboard!
