The Most Expected Video Games of The Fall (2014)

The summer is gone and so will be the vacation soon, but for gamers this actually means a good thing rather than a sad one. Every year, when the fall knocks at our doors, the publishers are ready to release their biggest titles, giving us the chance to spend hundreds of hours or more travelling through different universes, gaming universes.

In this feature I will write about the most expected video games of this fall, even if they are long-time franchises such as Call of Duty, Dragon Age, Halo, Borderlands or Assassin’s Creed, or new IPs as The Evil Within, Destiny or The Crew. The order in which I will write about them is a chronological one, giving each video game the same importance as the others.

The story is too old to be commented.

Shouldnt this read "anticipated" instead of "expected"? Doesnt sound right to me?

Anyway, so many games this fall I cant wait for. The Evil Within and Shadow of Mordor being high up on that list!

I originally wrote 'anticipated' and not 'expected', but after an advice from a close friend a changed it to 'expected'. Why?

To expect smth means that there is a degree of certainty to happen.
To anticipate smth means to be hopeful that the event will happen. There is no degree of certainty.

I often confused the two words because they are interchangeable, but now knowing the difference I think "expected" is the correct term. :)

When you put it that way it makes sense - it just didnt feel right when reading it the first time.

Good article though, makes a change to all the normal doom and gloom :)
