This feature looks at the growing danger of DDOS attacks on the game industry and why

Recently, fans of Blizzard had good and bad news in the form of the first major update to Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls and Battle.Net - Blizzard's online network being a target of a DDOS attack.

The attack made it almost impossible to play any games from Blizzard and adds them to the growing list of game designers being affected by DDOS attacks. For today's post we're going to examine what are DDOS attacks and why attacks on the Game Industry are escalating. (Culture, Diablo III, Industry)
