When I read Unreal 4 I expected better graphics...oh well, hopefully it plays well.

Maybe it looks better in motion? Haha

That might just be the art style though (looks like the developer may be going for something similar to a low-fi sci-fi look). If you blow up the images the lighting and texture work look quite good. Depending on the quality of character models you may change your mind when you see actual gameplay. Of course, I could just as easily be the one singing a different tune at that point.

I think it looks ok plus it is an indie title too. Might try the demo they have available on the game site too.

At mochachino. The game started as UE3 project, when he shifted to UE4, everything stayed with UE3 assets in mind. The only thing that got better was the lighting (using UE4 lighting system). Other UE4 specific assets like Physically absed lighting, materials and rendering aren't here. Shifting an UE3 to UE4 is now easier with justa plugin click,. His UE4 shift was before the final evolution of the enigne. He can't start over from scratch now.

Think Unreal Engine is more about ease of use than graphics powerhouse.

enough with first person

i want 3rd person Sci-fi horror not first .

its seems those first person games easy in develop , that's why they produce many of them .

Or because that viewpoint adds to the horror element, which as you should have figured out by now, is integral to the genre. There are few things less scary than staring at the back of someone's head.

believe me if the developer very talent he will make a master piece game in 3rd person .

but unfortunately those kind of developers is rare .

Ahhhh...typical plastic looking Unreal Engine...it's been like this since the very beginning of UE3!

I mean, why? I know it isn't completely inherent to the engine as there have been plenty of games made with Unreal that don't look like plastic so why do so, So, SO many Unreal games have this similar trait?

I know I'm not the only one here that can nearly instantly spot an Unreal Engine game.

I'm just curious if anyone knows why this is. I was hoping that Unreal Engine 4 would have fixed this but now it seems like we're in for a whole other generation of plastic wrapped games...something I grew so sick of last-gen.
