Guide4GameS: The Sims 4 has been released for PC, it comes with normal hardware requirements but there are many issues, crashes and errors occurring. Here are some of them with their fixes.
The conversation between Maxis and EA. M: We need to test the full game more before we release it EA: Lol, why? M: Remember Sim City EA: No whats that? M: EA pls
I get the impression that EA wanted to see how far they could push the 'bare minimum' model for Sims and then inundate us with millions of expansion packs.
Smells like BF4
A few of my buddies are boycotting this game because of that very fact. Wait a year, when it sells like crap there will be a big steam sale with all the expansion packs included for 1/4 of the price.
ea ruined maxis
They ruined almost every company that worked for them...
Maxis (Sim City), DICE (BF4), Vjsceral (Dead Space 3, BF Hardline), Bioware (Dragon Age 2) ... yes, I can agree with that statement. We simply should stop giving them our money until they realize that they can't get away with delivering the minimum all the time.
What? Maxis has been owned ever since they started developing games. You act like they were good BEFORE they were owned by EA. I agree that EA ruins companies though.
Nah. I love the hell out of Civ V. The thing to remember is not to support games involving EA due to their practices. Unfortunately, I pre-ordered FIFA lol but that's it! I swear lol
Thats Firaxis. Owned by 2K.
Mike, Woah! I read that way too fast and you're totally right. Sorry about that lol It was too early for my brain haha
I'm sure there will be an expansion pack to fix this
True, but it's not really the point though. I'm getting sick and tired of EA games being such a mess. They shouldn't need us to tell them that there are so many bugs in their games.
Forgot about this, checking out a few things now and want five minutes of my life back. Looks like EA's next wannabe cashcow with all the missing content. The fact they weren't even giving out review copies was sketchy in itself but I guess we'll all see why soon. Having said all this mind, they had lost me at their press conference when they shown a sim dying from laughter.
Are you telling me EA released a broken game? No way!!!!
Maybe, but I wouldn't take this trash website as any indication. They pos their generic list of "PC problems someone may have experienced over the last 15 years" for every game that comes out. Playing search engines for hits, nothing more.
I don't think EA understands what it means to learn from your mistake.
How could you EA? You always released games with no huge bugs. :( Battlefield 4, Sim City. Your slipping EA. *sarcasm
An EA game that is broken, what a shocker. Man this company are useless.
Sounds about right.
despite all that the game itself isnt getting good reviews.
There have been reviews?
I will buy this on sale and then just use community mods instead of buying expansion packs...
People who buy the sims need they're head banging against a wall.
Looking forward to the reviews. I predict a majority 7.5 and 8. If so we can see "gamersgate" go on with some new fresh ammo.
The Amazon reviews for this game are saddening. An originally good franchise completely crumbled overtime due greedy EA, Maxis died years ago... EA literally ruin everything. Awful company.
Holy shit EA, get your shit straight at least once
