I am trying to think of any game company that has done dlc right in recent years other then Nintendo and I can't think of any. Though I am scared that Nintendo might abuse dlc in the future like everyone else. I hope I never see that day.

They had day1 dlc with Mario Golf World Tour, that was their only real fault.
But Bethesda has always made good use of DLC.

That dlc was done right imo. The full game is only $30 and it all ready had more then the GameCube game. If you pay $15 more then you get even way more. 3ds games cost $40. So the original game which already came with more content then the last plus dlc adds up to the same as a regular retail.

I would personally consider some of the Fire Emblem DLC as questionable.

There's a pack where 2 of the challenges are literally just for getting gold and XP. It can be in a lot of ways compared to Dead Space 3's micro-transactions.

Some of the packs are just straight up fan service, but that's a completely different discussion since it can be argued that the dialogue alone was worth it lol.

Most of the DLC just gives you extra levels to fight in and grind your characters.

It's not Needed in FE:A, as the only ones I had were the first day Free DLC, and I bought the other map available that day.

Two extra maps that gave me 1 unique character and just new scenery to fight in.

NOT mandatory, but too many people were misinformed and that false info spread like wild fire.

Nintendo seems to be the only company that know how to do DLC.

"Nintendo shows DLC done right"?

Nintendo doesn't even have a proper account system that ties your games and content to the account instead of just the system they're on. So how can they be doing it right if the user loses ownership if anything happens to their system or they buy a new one?

Wait... " nintendoenthusiast.com".

LOL

Yeah never mind.

shaw98665d ago

Although inconvenient you can get your content back. You just call Nintendo and they will give you back all the games you lost.

If only it was as easy as you make it look like.

It doesn't mean because it's Nintendo it's all sunshine and rainbows.

Their one of the best fan/dedicated game company sites I've seen. I've yet to see a bad article or something that insults the competition. They don't lie or spew garbage

Who breaks their system? It has never happened to me.

I am actually stoke about this new 3DS for some reason. However it does seem to have a lof of things that the 3DS should have had in the first place. But stronger guts, better screen, built in NFC, dual bumpers, and dual analog sticks is nothing I am going to complain about.
