The Xenoblade sequel is also a nice step but whatever happened to Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei?

From this point on, the news we here from Nintendo should be more of the stuff we'd want to here.

As in, it will be all the stuff we've been wanting over the past 6-7 years.

We can finally expect to see some of those ideas play out into reality.

If they keep this up, they won't have to be behind graphically next gen + they will have the awesome Nintendo innovations.

Make more games like THIS instead of Mario. (Unless it's a REALLY good Mario game like a new Paper Mario or an Open World Mario.)

JRPG golden age incoming?

casual era doesn't just die, that's a dumb thing to say.
there will always be casual gamers, even more so as the years go by

TongkatAli1332d ago

Yeah, but I don't think they're going to buy a Wii, too many were gathering dust last gen, the 3DS is a great casual device though.

The casual era has gotten even stronger. Who do you think plays most games on the smart phone and why do you think the PS4 is sellig that much?

Hardcore gamers are neither numerous enough nor do they have enough to afford a $400 system in mass like that.

Nintendo was targeting harcore gamers from the start with the Wii U.

DualWielding1332d ago

casual era died on consoles because casuals moved to smartphones

lilbroRx1332d ago

Looking at the sales of the top console. No, they didn't. People just with to the console with the most hype as always.

Casuals will always by the "thing to have".

Chrono1332d ago (Edited 1332d ago )

Nintendo is lost without the casuals. The casual utopia went mobile.

Digimortal1332d ago

Not really no, they survived during the N64 gen, GC gen, and they will also do the same for the Wii U. People tend to forget that console sales isn't all that Nintendo makes from as profit goes. There first party games play a huge part of thats as well, along side there hand held and now with the introduction of Amiibos. Yeah that's another heavy chunk of change going in there pocket at the end of the day.
