(criticalIndieGamer) Sequels have often been the bane of gamers’ existence, having to wait long periods to get the games they love. Half-Life fans know all too well the pain of waiting for new adventures of a hero they love. Somewhere along the way it was thought of to create episodic content, to give gamers more of what they like in easier to develop chunks. While Telltale Games seems to have mastered this, other companies including the mighty Valve have sometimes faltered. This brings us to SkyGoblin’s The Journey Down, a game that first released in August of 2010 and remade in 2012, all told, four long years of waiting for the 2nd chapter of the series.
"I find SkyGoblin's The Journey Down: Chapter two for the Nintendo Switch to be a good follow up to Chapter one, and this is the reason why." - P Albert, TGG.
James writes - "The first chapter of SkyGoblin’s The Journey Down took a while after its initial release on PC to make it to the Xbox One, and it’s fair to say it hadn’t aged too well. With Chapter Two of the point and click adventure trilogy primed to potentially suffer the same fate, it’s time to find out whether the higher price tag is warranted for what’s on offer, or if it should’ve been left in the past."
James writes - "The humorous point and click adventures of Bwana and Kito in The Journey Down kicked off earlier in the month, but today they’re set to continue in The Journey Down: Chapter Two. Where will it takes us next?"
