They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
I think this is in response to them releasing a remaster for the sequel, a game that didn't need a remaster.
Basically a "why did you put out a remaster no one asked for when you have all there options available"
They remaster is to put out something quick while they are deving new stuff. I don't get how people can be so static.
That was a Remake. I guess they could do that to 2, but man…. They should wait a couple generations so it can look like a major upgrade.

Definitely no I hate it when sp games get cut short of what they could of been just to have some half assed multiplayer added.
Sports games, run & cover shooters, FPS, and hack & slash games may benefit from a multiplayer mode. Games with cinematic cut-scenes, like survival adventure, horror, rpgs suffer when content is taken away to add in a multiplayer. Just image if TLOU was open world, but there would be no multiplayer mode. TLOU has the potential to be so much more than it is. Without multiplayer, the game could be filled with more places to explore, an expanded story, and more infected instead of being completely linear. Don't misunderstand my comments about TLOU because I do consider it to be one of the greatest games of all time and for anyone who has played the game, I think most of us can agree that TLOU's status as one of the greatest games has nothing to do with the multiplayer mode. I think multiplayer mode in certain games should be offered as DLC instead of being added to a game and taking away from content in the main story.

why can't we have both ? to me if its just single player only then it has no replay value and i'd trate it as soon as i could. this is same as if a game is only multiplayer i won't buy that as well. gaming is about being more social so get deal with it. get more friends to play and you won't question games with multiplayer.
