VRFocus - Despite its showing at multiple events throughout the year, the Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4 is far from complete. In fact, neither Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) nor Oculus VR with its Oculus Rift VR HMD have revealed final, consumer-designed builds of their kits at this point in time. There are a number of reasons for this, including the need to include the best technology for the best VR experience. And according to SCE’s head of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida, that technology ‘advances every month’.

It sounds like a lot still but I think 250 is the sweet spot. It's expensive never been done before tech that might just run off wireless hdmi a long with an OLED screen. For a premium product like that I have no problem paying that price but again it has to be cheap enough for mass consumers to take hold of..Pretty tricky and interesting to see how it all pans out.
