IncGamers get their streaming on with the Nvidia Shield Tablet. How does this new device compare to other desktop-to-TV streaming options out there?
I might actually get this. I since my GPUs are now NVIDIA. On a side note if the Nintendo Fusion device is really happened this is exactly what it needs to be, except with improvements to all the areas that need a bit more polish such as Wi-Fi streaming, battery life, and obviously Nintendo support. For the controller Nintendo should stick to the game pad which would allow the same functionality, and the streaming should come from the base of the device which could be the charging cradle packed with everything needed to run games on your TV by connecting the device to the cradle. http://n4g.com/user/blogpos...
Unfortunately, Nintendo no longer has the engineering/technical know-how to design solid gaming hardware. Just look at the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U and you'll see that they just can't compete in those areas anymore. All are pretty poorly-designed devices that are also hugely lacking in the most basic features.
But with this there's little to no design needed. Everything is pretty much provided for them and proven technology. The only thing they'd have to come up with is how to design the cradle and allow the 4DS aka N-Fusion to connect to HDTV mode seamlessly. I think it's quite possible for them, but will they do something that seems like a no brainer for their company. Probably not.
This thing has been constantly sold out since launch I want one but the only place I see them in Stock is Amazon and that's through other sellers that's raping customers charging a extra 60. Yeah I wait and nvidia haven't even launched the case yet, so I mostly gonna get it next month buy everything in one go. Hate waiting different pieces.
