The Sad State of the Media Portrayal of MMO Gamers

There's been one constant for gamers, no matter if they're into mmorpg games, first person shooters, console games, or pen-and-paper role-playing games. That constant is that they're depicted in a grossly unfair light in the media. This is true in movies, tv shows, and news reporting. The depiction of gamers follows a predictable pattern. They're lazy, unkempt, socially awkward, and have very little grasp on reality. MMO-Play takes a closer look at the sad state of the media portrayal of mmo gamers. (Culture)
