Carl Williams writes, "When NEC launched the Turbo Grafx-16 in North America they faced many challenges. For one they were slightly off as far as what gamers on this side of the pond wanted (Sega was closer and therefore outsold the NEC machine regularly). The Legendary Axe was quite the showcase title for the Turbo Grafx-16 and definitely should have been the pack in game used to showcase the new console’s power. Action platform fans were treated to an interesting game that won accolades from both Electronic Gaming Monthly and Video Games & Computer Entertainment."

I actually loved Keith Courage that came with mine and Bonk was fun. The cartridges were cool too.
