EA CEO Andrew Wilson has said that his company is striving to change and make decisions which mean players get strong games, something evidenced by its recent delay of Battlefield Hardline.
I'd argue that this is just a PR stunt to make people believe they care. Speculating here for the sake of it , they leaked the game in late may , released beta during E3 , beta felt like we were playing alpha. What im trying to say is , they knew all along the game would be ready by early 2015 but gave a fake release date so when they'd push the release they'd have the best excuse to appear as if they care for the players Again im just speculating , there are millions of BF players , so why not pull a stunt like that and win back some love from the public perception.
alternatively they could just forget about hardline and bring on battlefield 5. Hardline just seems like battlefield 4 dlc. At least based on what i played in the beta
F Battlefield 5. Either Battlefield 1944,Battlefield Vietnam 2 or Battlefield 2143. No more modern junk Dice.
Shame it took him several broken games to come to the realisation that releasing a finished product is better than releasing a timely one.
Several=Many BF3 and BF4 are the only ones that had serious issues. So 2 games. Not Several. And if the gameplay is like Bad Company 1 or 2 then maybe Bad Company 3. I miss the Bad Company feel.
You're forgetting both Medal of Honor games in that list, which were also broken at launch. The fact you didn't even mention them is proof enough of how unforgettable they were... Bad Company 2 was the last BF game EA released complete.
Never mind that. Announce Bad Company 3, and then don't screw it up. I think this game will be completely overshadowed by Rainbow Six: Siege, which looks like a much cooler cops & criminals shooter. I guess it depends on when they both release though.
"Announce Bad Company 3, and then don't screw it up." The sad part is they most likely will. I just truly hope I'm wrong.
That Hardline game will mark the end of Battlefield series that we used to love. I know its not DICEs but EAs idea to make Battlefield annual release but that Hardline game has nothing common with BF, it will only damage the good brand of war games. Sad but true..
"EA's CEO Says Delaying Battlefield Hardline Was the Right Decision for Player and Franchise" In other news. No one cares what EA's CEO has to say. Just start working on Battlefield: Bad Company 3, and work with the community as you develop it.
the concept was flawed to begin with i think. i mean it was meant to have a cops and robber feel to it but to me it was just a multiplayer fps.
took you mad 1000 patches to realize this LOL
I think this whole thing was fake, because I find it hilarious that they say around a week prior if we need to we will delay BFH so it doesn't come to the same faith as BF4 and then they delay it. Like yeah we are listening to yall, when just previous months ago before BFH announcement they said BF will not become an annual franchise. I swear EA and Microsoft have alot in common.
