Kôna Dev: 'We believe VR is the future of gaming'

VRFocus - It doesn’t take much to convince someone of virtual reality’s (VR) potential. All they need do is sample the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) or other device to get a good idea of where the technology is going to lead. Take Kôna developer Parabole, for example. Having originally launched a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming adventure title with a stretch goal for VR support, the developer quickly included integration into the base goal having realised how easy and effective support is.

The story is too old to be commented.

it's gaming's destiny.

Like 3D was television destiny and yet it hasn't even caught on .

But how many people have them in there houses now?. Its hard to find a Led without 3D included as an option and that's from as little as £150. All four TVs and the two PC monitors threw out my family's house has 3D in them.

Can i say all off them use the feature no. But i can say the TVs using the games consoles and the PC Monitors are making use off the feature for movies and games and we are having fun with it.

how else do you see gaming experience evolve?

give it time.

It should be an aspect of gaming. Not the whole thing. Because it wont be the whole thing.

I don't know. I tried the OR and while it is amazing it caused me a massive motion sickness.

I agree, it's an experience though amazing but I wouldn't want to go through again.

but in time I'm sure they will resolve this issue and introduce a higher visual fidelity compared to what is available today.

give it time. I believe this is the way of the future and we are witnessing its renaissance just like 70's 80's and 90's generations experienced some of gaming's milestones.
