Salty Access: "As much as I was looking forward to New ‘n’ Tasty, the current controls keep me from not only playing the game, but also from recommending it."
1/5.. you for real mate? Somebody wasn't old enough for gaming in the 90's thats for sure.
I can't believe they gave this person a free copy to review. And what a pathetic attempt of a review this is.
His reviews are only about accesibility for the physically challenged people. So 1/5 is logical if it's unplayable to them.
It's not made very clear that the review is about accessibility, should make that very clear in the tittle and review. The game is really great if for people without physical challenges, unfortunately most games are not designed with physical challenges in mind.
In fairness to the reviewer, he did not actually give the game a 1/5 review. Rather he didn't give the game itself a rating at all. At the bottom of the review it states 'Rating: N/A. Accessibility Rating: 1 out of 5 Stars'. Accessibility in this case is referring to the difficulty of the control scheme for someone who, like him, may be physically challenged. I think it's encouraging to see someone assessing accessibility issues, as having studios consider more control options can only benefit the gaming community as a whole.
gaming shouldnt be limited to physically fit people.
Out now, Avatar on DVD and Blu Ray. 5/5 "Masterpiece" -Variety 10/10 "Beautiful" - Cinema magazine, 1/5 "Couldn't see shit" - Blind movie guide dot com.
i think he has won the internet today.
Hahahahaha! That's the best thing I've read in ages man!
Totally not a clickbait review. Not. At. Alllllll.
Did you even play the original game? If you think the controls are broken on this remake, you must think the original isn't even playable because from what i've read the controls are much better.. and i never had much problem with the original game. Christ, no wonder more save points and difficulty options were added to the new version. Games are getting too easy and being dumbed down because of people like this.
Are people like not reading the article? Or are they only reading the title and making an opinion on that? We admit that the title is misleading and stuff and should be corrected. But people should actually read the article and than comment on what the author is stating. Which is a viable opinion and stuff. Also, it is good that the developer is listening to him and will hopefully make changes so that people with physical disabilities will be able to play the game as well.
