Tales Of Xillia 2 Review | Explosion

Explosion writes:" Everything considered, Tales Of Xillia 2 is a worthy addition to the Tales Of series and a better game than its predecessor thanks to the great story and characters and improved battle system. The amount of recycled content is disturbing at times but if you can look past this and a few other small issues, you will find a remarkable role playing game that can keep you engaged for a very long time." (PS3, Tales of Xillia 2) 8.5/10

This is one series i need on my 360 , tales of vesperia was awesome , its a shame they didnt support the 360 with more tales series .

Well considering they're all on PS3, I'd think about getting one to play these. Xillia was great, looking forward to this.

Vesperia 360 sold not so good compare to other main titles. That's why Namco decided not to make any Tales game again on 360. So you should blame 360 users. If 360 users a bit more supportive for Vesperia than maybe Namco will not hesitate to make Graces f, Xillia 1 & 2, or Zestiria for 360 too.

Anyway, already pre-order my day 1 edition. Can't wait to play this game and try the new main character.

I only moderately enjoyed Xillia... I felt it was lacking in side content compared to other Tales games.

Xillia 2 seems better, but my hype is for Zestiria now. :)

Tales Of Xillia 2 is better in every possible way so you'll definitely enjoy it. Without spoiling anything, I can say it has everything you'd expect from a Tales Of game in regards to extra content.

Yay! That's good news! :)

That because Namco only gave Baba and his team less than one year to make Xillia 1, so Namco can released Xillia the same time with Tales 15/16th anniversary (cmiiw).

But personally i think it still had a good ammount of content to made me spend 40-50 hours to finish the story (note: i'm not yet finished all side quest). And my friends who already finished the japanese ver of Xillia 2 said it is better than Xillia 1. So you can relax about the side content.

For Zestiria, i think it will be the ultimate Tales.

Yeah I spent over 60 hours in Xillia, beating the end game dungeon and all.

But usually, a Tales game has almost a full extra post game, almost of the length of the main one.

Xillia just had one single dungeon made from previous areas. :(

I hope Zestiria is cross-gen... I will buy it regardless but I'd love it on PS4.

I'm getting this game on Day 1. Hopefully, it will be in stock when I drop by my local gaming store. ^^

I still have the first game (Limited edition) still in the wrap. Too many games and not enough time :(
