Koei Tecmo have released new screenshots for Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, along with 1080p footage captured from the Xbox One version of the game. They’ve also highlighted new online and offline modes in the game.
Isn't this a Multi-platform game (PS4/PS3/Vita and Xbox One)? The tag is misleading even if the article is about the XB1 version.
"Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate will be released on September 2nd in North America and September 5th in Europe for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The PS3 and Vita versions of the game will be download titles in North America. Cross-Play and Cross-Save functionality is supported across the three PlayStation systems." The article even mentions the other systems within it.
Does it matter what systems it's on cause that game looks horrid! Welcome to the 1980's with that soundtrack and 2004 with the gameplay. Doesn't even look visually appealing.
Its no different to articles that say ps3/ps4 despite being multiplat
Looks quite crappy BUT still ill be buying this cause i love the Orochi series also i cant wait for Samurai Warriors 4!
Old time good game play. Take my money already!
Sometimes I feel like most Japanese developers are still stuck in 2001. I mean look at those graphics, animations, soundtrack, and gameplay. Everything about this game looks outdated. If you gave Dead or Alive 3 a resolution boost (even to just 720p) it would still look better than this game which is kind of ironic since DOA is also a Tecmo game (Made by the real Team Ninja).
How do you expect some highly detailed graphics with the amount of stuff on screen at once? The Mosou series in general focuses on gameplay. You can keep your shiny graphics with shallow gameplay.
From what I've seen there didn't seem to be a lot going on on the screen at once. All there was in there is low-poly character models, low-res visual effect and flat textures from the PS2 era. Sure, I'd take good gameplay over shiny graphics any day of the week but from what has been shown so far, this game doesn't seem like much fun.
