I'm going to use the photo mode in Driveclub so f'n much! Also can't wait to see what they show at Gamescom next week.

The visuals on this game are insane!

SaturdayNightBeaver1107d ago

as well as fps.

wonder how is input lag on those steering wheels.

Afterlife1107d ago

Not really. I would be more impressed if it looked like that and running at 60 fps.

xBraiNshOcK1107d ago

and even more impressed if it ran at 4k resolution, right?! Point is the visuals are next gen, and they will get better and better. Just like they did with the PS3.

lsujester1107d ago

The lack of Logitech support bothers me more than anything. I have a DFGT sitting around begging to be used.

Dammit Evolution, how much money did Thrustmaster shove in your pockets for timed wheel exclusivity?

My G27 will have Project CARS to keep it company till then.

annus1107d ago (Edited 1107d ago )

G27 doesn't work on ANY PS4 game. From what I've researched the Driveclub wheel is the only one that works on PS4.

Edit: Looks like you were right about Thrustmaster stuff working, but that's for all games, not just Driveclub from what I can tell. So G27 still won't work on PS4 until Sony implement it.

@annus

I was talking about Project cars on my PC.

nategrigs1107d ago

Yeah. We STILL haven't gotten a straight answer so I'm holding out hope

OrangePowerz1107d ago

As far as I know that's down to Logitech not having any drivers made for it since the PS4 has a different controller interface and only Thrustmaster has drivers for it so far.

I swear 80% of this game is coming in a post release patch. You would think after 2 delays they would have this crap sorted out.

@thorstein.. That is actually a good point. We honestly dont know, they havent said if both will be getting the patches. Something they might want to talk about.

thorstein1107d ago

Good point. And which versions are getting the post release patch DLC? Does my plus get the photo mode? Does plus get weather/water?

Hmm....

dragon821107d ago

The Plus version is the actual retail version with some content presented as "pay as you go" instead of being there from the start.

Master-H1107d ago (Edited 1107d ago )

Sure, because Weather system and PhotoMode are 80% of the game , not the full roster of cars, or the tracks, or the challenges/events, the mp modes, nope, just the bonus photomode, and the weather effects. I'm sure you're dying to play it on your imaginary ps4.

Hell, the bone itself was barely functional without it's "post release patch".

*after 2 delays

Congrats your name suits you well. The game has only been delayed once you bonkerz.

Dlacy13g1107d ago

Drive Club has been an interesting game to watch over the past year. Visually I always thought it looked good. I do find it a bit odd that they delayed out the game a full year and even with that delay we are still seeing things like Weather effects and Photo mode coming as "post-release patches".
