UGO: Age of Conan Review

UGO writes: "Joining the group of hopeful challengers to WoW's success is the Norwegian developer Funcom. They come with some street cred, having built second generation MMORPG Anarchy OnlineNow they return to the scene with Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, an MMORPG set in the fantasy world of Conan the Barbarian.

In Age of Conan, you play a shipwrecked slave washed up on the shores of a beach. The only other surivor is your owner, who you'll need to kill to make good your escape. You have no memory of your past life, and you'll need to figure out who you are and where you fit into the cosmic-sized storyline that lurks ominously around you, waiting to be discovered in dribs and drabs. The game makes a great first impression, wowing you with a movie-quality cut scene between King Conan and one of his top agents that visualizes the specter of rising evil, before taking you to a highly-customizable character creation screen where pick your character's culture and class, and then design your character's look down to the last detail."

The story is too old to be commented.
