My worst four A.I. companions ever

Video games today has allowed us to play with friends and strangers alike. We can play sitting next to our fellow gamers through local multiplayer or it can be done from anywhere around the world through online play. There are times though, that a gamer may want to play a video game by him or herself. Single player games that provide a rich narrative often has the gamer spending a lot of time with NPC’s. With Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite it has shown that NPC’s can be very helpful. (BioShock, BioShock: Infinite, Casual games, Culture, GameCube, Resident Evil 4, Tech)

Ashley wasnt that bad, she was hardly with you, got behind you when you went to aim and you could tell her to hide

Now Sheva on the other hand

Any of the AI companions on The Last of Us when you play on grounded difficulty. Lower difficulties they are great, but i believe both the enemy and ally AI begin to "break down" on that level even as good as they are. Deaths, some anyway, start to feel cheap or due mostly in part to the "imperfections" in this regard: but lower difficulties are so much more forgiving it is a breeze to play by comparison. Playing on easy is just pure enjoyment.

Ashley acted just like a real human would do. The feeling you have to protect her just made the game even more exciting.
One of the best games ever, no doubt.

Where is Ellie on this list? She is by far the most annoying A.I. companions to date. LOL XDDDD
Wizard_King  +   332d ago
You will get much hate for that but I have to agree. She was so dumb and the way the AI reacted to her just ruined the immersion for me.

Oh I know I'll get hate for it, it's actually just a joke really. I despise how the majority of the population of this website, can't for the life of them handle even the slightest criticism of their holy messiah that is The Last of Us.

Whilst in fact I disagree with you, I respect your opinion and understand your point of view. Here have an agree, cause I like you a lot.
