Nobody is gonna pay the current beta prices and hopefully Sony listens to the community because their current offerings are unacceptable while taking those complaints into consideration while pricing their subscription service.

If this is the future, it is kind of crappy.

Laggy multiplayer like experience on single player games with video compression artifacts is the future?

No thanks!

Even in a modernized country like the US, we don't have the internet service yet.

Well written article and a very fair assessment. One thing not mentioned though is Sony doesn't set the prices of the games the publishers and developers do.

Mentioned within a Sony email from beta testing(Important points to review).

These prices are ultimately decided on by the participating developers and publishers. Your feedback during this next phase of the Private Beta is extremely important, as we will be monitoring it closely.

Please give us your feedback in these Private Beta Forums or email us at [email protected] om and help shape the future of PlayStation Now.

Here is an idea of what Sony published game prices are (4 hours, 7 Days 30 Days, 90 Days,

Twisted Metal $2.99 $5.99 $7.99 $14.99
PixelJunk Games $2.99 $3.99 $5.99 $7.99
Killzone 3 $2.99 $5.99 $7.99 $14.99

The 4 hour prices are a joke first off. 7 days and 30 days aren't bad but the again these are all old games. The 90 day prices are often worse than finding them on disk. The other thing is some of these games have been offered through PS+ either for free or at a discount. Which makes it all the more interesting they don't want to support EA Access.

Its a noble Idea but, consider that Netflix is currently in a war with Verizon and Comcast over data hogging, and if this ever takes off they sure as hell wont take very kindly.

Seems like Sony is now ironically ahead of Microsoft with its ps now cloud gaming services. We will have to wait and see if microsoft connectivity requirement for their 'cloud stuff' will be higher/lower as 5 - 12 Mbps from ps now.

That's funny playing old games in a diminished resolution with lag is the future of gaming. If so it's time I quit gaming.
