Evolve's Delay Isn't All Bad

IGN - 2K pushed the asymmetrical shooter's release date to February of 2015, but we don't think that's the worst thing in the world.

The story is too old to be commented.

These new ip's need breathing room. We always see this huge influx in games being released around the same time. I think it's good they are starting to learn it's best to spread them out more. Game looks great so far.

Well, there is now so much "breathing room" that there are no games left at all.

Have you even seen the October release schedule? O_O

i hate the way people try to spin negative things into positive things where theres no positive... Do not announce the release date for a game if you're not going to get it out by then it's just that simple.

Have to say I agree, I've not had my PS4 for a year yet in the past 9 months I've seen more games delayed or vanish off the radar than I did in 6-7 years of PS3 ownership.

It used to be disappointing when a game was delayed. These days I almost expect it to be delayed and sugar coating the delay by saying it can only be a good thing is giving the dev a little too much slack.

We know the delay isn't necessarily a bad thing. It gives the devs more time for bugs, gives the game a more focused release window and gives us more time for other things.

Every time a delay happens someone is ready to go "but that isn't a bad thing".

WE KNOW, MOST PEOPLE SAY THAT WHENEVER A DELAY HAPPENS AND MOST OF US ARE ON BOARD THE SAME LOGIC TRAIN AS YOU ARE.
