The problem with Ultra right now is that the five "new" characters are not really finished at the moment. They have terrible issues with their hitboxes and several bugs that were never worked out. For instance, when Poison goes from crouch to a neutral stand she is fully invincible to sweep. It will just whiff right through her. Decapre has issues with teleporting to the wrong side of characters when she focuses and releases. On a jump in, if Decapre is focusing and lets go before you land it will look like she went behind you, but will pop up in front of you when animation is finished. Elena has issues with her hitbox, hurtbox, and has combos drop if they are crouching and already being hit.
All in all the new characters are just not finished and a lot of that will be addressed with a later patch, or at least that is what Combofiend has said. I was hoping that their would be a patch with the physical release, but I don't think there was.
