Daft Punk Should Create A Video Game Soundtrack

With a very technologic, futuristic sound, Daft Punk would be a perfect duo to create a soundtrack for a sci-fi video game. Considering their connections with Tron, DJ Hero, and Sony, it isn't too farfetched to think that a collaboration for a full game soundtrack could happen someday.

YES! Loved their TRON: Legacy soundtrack.

I love both albums. The Tron soundtrack is cool ambient music while the remix had great tunes.

I think it's one of the best remix albums out. .. and I hate remix albums.

They haven't been this popular to the mainstream in years. I'd expect them to be enlisted for a game soundtrack sooner than later.

they get real popular every time they release an album. They only really have three proper albums.

Out of curiosity, do you not consider Human After All to be a proper album? To me, I guess it technically counts as a studio album and as such, it seems extremely weak when stacked up against Homework, Discovery and Random Access Memories. I really prefer to think of it as a quick experimental project / warm up for Alive 2007.

i guess technically it is, just very rushed.

I would agree with this; it'll happen eventually. I just hope sooner rather than later :)

Oh, and I also agree that Human After All wasn't that good... it could have been cut in half the length because all the songs basically repeated themselves for minutes -_- Let's just pretend that album doesn't exist, eh?

If this were to happen I'd be sure to game Harder, Better, Faster and Stronger than ever before!

Ad Godspeed, You Black Emperor, Too and Omar Rodríguez-López to this list.

boyscout2991441d ago

I have never heard of any of them! Should look into it :)

my grammar was terrible for that posting...

"Add Godspeed, You Black Emperor, Tool and Omar Rodríguez-Lopez."

There...fixed. Omar Rodríguez-López created At the Drive In and Marse Volta and has some solo works, he's a genius on the guitar.

Double post is bad!
