Junkie Monkeys: Some screenshots were recently leaked for Kano’s appearance on the Mortal Kombat X roster. A certain user also claims that a new playable character will be revealed soon.
Can't wait to see what's in store after gamescom.
I want kung lao back! Can't wait for this game!
he died in MK9
Can't wait for Venom Snake
I hope the roster is as big as injustices' .
No, no... bigger.
dammit Nether Realm just take my money
Kano is my favorite Glad to hear about this. Can't wait!
Wish they put as much effort in the graphics as every other area. The game looks the same as the Injustice port on PS4.
Yeah, it's the same engine and development studio. Of course they'll look similar.
Yeah, and that's not cool, it's time to upgrade their engine for next-gen.
It looks good to me, besides in fighters its all about the frame rate. I'd rather the game be locked to a smooth 60FPS without stutter than make the characters "shinier."
LOL, dude, in fighters it's all about all aspects. Framerate and graphics should be next level.
this isn't a damn FPS, it's two characters and cosmetic stage with a locked forward facing camera. No hundreds of characters running around, no 64 online players to track. No collisions for the entire cosmetic background. This should look god tier. This game could and should have been the best looking game so far with such advantages on their side, but cross gen greed made them make the wrong choice. Hopefully they haven't destroyed the franchise again by mk11, and we can see what it should have looked like
Yes, unfortunately fanboys love to eat sh!t and smile, so you'll get crazy downvotes. Even XBox One fans should know what a good next gen game looks like by now. This and Killer Instinct are inexcusably ugly. How the hell can you guys justify Ryse and Infamous characters and stages looking better than a fighting game, when those are large level and open world games with hundreds or thousands of objects and/or characters on screen at a time? These are fighting games that don't have a tag team component, and don't have 3d movement. Those games should graphically look like The Hobbit special effectsm since they are able to stuff all that power that was used on entire open worlds in Infamous, and huge swarms and crowds of super detailed characters in Ryse all stuffed into a measly 2 characters, with a locked on 2d rails stage. It's pathetic, and in a couple of years when a real next gen fighter comes out, you'll see what I mean.
I couldn't have said it better.
Never been much of a Kano player, but I'm glad he's in there. Feels more Mortal Kombat-ey with him in there.
every character i like (scorpion, subzero) has really been announced already im getting this day one i just hope for classic reptile dlc or alt costume .
Screens look like their from an iPhone game
They are screens from the magazine mentioned in the article.
You're right, so he should have said: "Screens look like they're from a magazine showing screens from an iPhone game"
Kano has always been one of my mains, as well as Kung Lao. This is good news. I know the game picks up right where the last one left off and is supposed to span 25 years, so really anyone can be included. I would like to see Frost return.
Subzero, Noob Saibot, Scorpion and Ermac. My decision to buy will be made when all 4 are playable characters.
Wouldn't Kano be a little... old for this storyline? Like in his 60s or something like that? It will be MK 25 years later after all, won't it?
Nobody's too old after seeing Shang Tsung.
dude its a fighting game, even people in there 60s or more can still kick ass
Heihachi is 75 in the latest Tekken games, he still kicks ass.
or TEKKEN's Wang Jinrei. little old bastard is quick....which is why i use him ;)
Hmm... I wonder how his fighting styles will differ seeing as everyone's getting 3 types of movesets.
If I had to guess, I'd say one focused on grapples, one focused on knife fighting, and another on eye lasers
Good, can't wait to tear him apart.
Awesome news man... cant wait to rip some hearts out.
