inXile Entertainment has revealed that its sequel to the amazingly popular 1988 RPG Wasteland will be slightly delayed.
Just a little bit, the game would come at the end of this month.
Not like you have to worry about it since you don't even game on PC. Crawl back into your hole.
Almost bought this during steams summer sale but was put off by mixed reviews of the early access beta. Will buy if it receives decent reviews.
I'm sure it will get mixed reviews. As Divinity: Original Sin already showed there are plenty gamers who wants hand holding and easy and effortless game experience - like Skyrim, Fallout 3, etc. These old schoold RPGs are not going to give it and that shows in reviews.
This game has me really hopeful that a true successor to the old Fallout/Wasteland games is here, but in cases like this the Early Access program is inherently broken. In an RPG or story-heavy game, why would I play a rough and incomplete version? I've been burnt by Early Access before, my only fully satisfying experience being Broforce, which is completely enjoyable as is, and just continues to evolve over time. But I am waiting patiently for Wasteland 2 to come out to cure my decade-long apocalyptic itch.
