Why Buy A Video Game When You Can Just Watch It

In the ever evolving games industry, do you even need to buy a game in order to play it? GameSkinny takes a look. (Culture, TwitchTV, YouTube)

If I can get the same experience in watching YouTube videos of a game as I would get from actually playing it, it's obviously not much of a game, and I would never buy it anyway...Of course, I wouldn't bother watching the videos of it either...

Basically, I don't understand this. I've only watched playthroughs for games I've already beaten. If it's a game I haven't played, I might watch a trailer or a small piece of gameplay, to see if I'm interested.
