The Last of Us Remastered review: Great game but little new to PS4 version | Sun News

It’s tough to recommend for PS3 players who have already played the game, as the $55 price is a bit steep for some enhanced visuals and a bit of added content. But PlayStation 4 owners who haven’t yet experienced The Last of Us absolutely owe it to themselves to pick up this modern classic, and take a journey with Joel and Ellie across the heartbreakingly beautiful ruins of our world. (PS4, The Last Of Us Remastered) -

Little ? Isnt improved Lightning and blood effect good enough ?. And not to mention that the ps4 version looks so Clean. You can clearly see all the signs without it being blurred like in the ps3 version. Even the draw distance is so great. Im glad i traded in my Raymond legends and payed 9$ for this game.

Wow, some of those youd swear were concept art.

I got on a funny angle last last, I was able to zoom in so close Joels ear filled the whole screen and the detail was amazing. The little individual grey hairs, the creases on his neck. Incredible.

Its astounding that all that detail is right there but you might never see it if it werent for phototmode. Make this a standard feature Sony.

ASTOUNDING!

This last-gen game really is a marvel on next-gen hardware. We can now appreciate all the little nuances and imperfections that the artists put into these models, textures, designs and systems. I've never seen another set of developers that put as much subtle attention to detail into their games as Naughty Dog.

They had to fit all of this beauty into a small allotment of RAM on PS3 hardware, so it had to be compressed or cut. PS4 lets the art breathe and be appreciated in such beautiful form.

Yes. I vote for Photomode becoming a standard. The goings on at NeoGAF are so influential on the industry, and I think Sony is hearing us loud and clear on that basis.

Clearly the word 'work' went walking in my post above.

We know that Driveclub is getting a photo mode and word is, The Order is too.

I played the ps3 version and I have no problems going out and buying this again.i can't wait to do the story again and the dlc left behind, plus back to playing one of my fav mp. Naughty dog deserve every penny they make from this game..

I have been playing the multiplayer with some guys who never even had a ps3. Its funny how blown away they are at the story and game design. That's why I never buy just one console. I don't want to miss out on any of the great games.

its a decent looking game. i tried it last night. i wanted to really like it but its way more linear than i expected. Guess ima probably just wait on these next titles... Madden 15 (PS4), Destiny (PS4), GTAV (X1) NBA 2k15 (X1), COD (X1)
