"Skara: The Blade Remains is an upcoming fps style hand to hand combat game due for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It is also one of the few titles that will be using the Xbox One SDK update in order to improve the performance."
Glad to hear of another satisfied dev optimizing for X1.
And over time it'll keep getting better... can't wait to see how games like Halo5 , Gears or even Forza 5 will look down the road.
Maaaaan, I dang sure can't wait to see the next gears.
Forza 6? 5 is already out...
Halo 5 will surely set the bar for the console. It would be in their interests to show developers how it's done too :)
@angels378 Oops. Its Forza 6 not Forza 5. My bad.
I wonder what crytek could've done in ryse with that extra gpu. The game is already stunning. I'm expecting gears of war to be quite spectacular with the better tools and direct x update.
Or what they CAN do with Ryse 2 but I guess that's not gonna happen.
True. Just got my One a week ago and I got Ryse today and it's mindblowing. Some of the best Graphics out there right now.
It is good, Im wondering though, this is the second Dev to talk about the extra 10% CPU resources? I was aware of the 10% GPU, but had no idea about the CPU!
I'm happy that XB1 is getting back on its feet.
And like and drunk will land back on its arse soon after!
Look... it's dumb and dumber!
Were you drunk when you wrote that?
Why did you think all of that was necessary?
It's nice to see an avid playstation fan showing so much interest in the XB1. It's a shame I've read the slander you write on other articles. Whats worse is that we can't bubble you down further
I'm happy you comment on every single post.
I thoght the power of the cloud was enough ! 0_o
Whatever kid... games developer's still have to learn a lot about network engineering before it'll take off. It's use by first party studio's will become more elaborate over time and will set a new standard for the industry.
Will PS4 version see some improvements? :D
its improved already :p
I see the Sony gimps have come invading already.
Nice to hear, hopefully things will get better in time
So let me get this straight, MS reserved 10% of the CPU, and 10% of the GPU for Kinect? I thought it was only 10% of the GPU. Now throw in some DX12 and the XB1 should do ok for the next 4 years or so. Even with more CPU and GPU resources I really don't see this generation lasting as long as the previous. Unlike last gen, this gen is not state of the art upon release.
Still waiting to my buddys to Remote Play in my PS4... im having trouble to pass that Knack boss... XD
Glad to see the SDK putting in work. I'm liking the clear direction Microsoft are taking for its devices...if I didn't have 10yrs at Viacom I'd actually think about working for their corporate offices but I'll stick to orchestrating content that makes TV watchers remain brainwashed idiots that believe 90% of reality tv is not 100% staged.
Nice to hear more devs are getting use to the SDK. Totally off topic but, how cool is that new windows phone commercial with Cortana? I hope we get to see more integration from Microsoft. Like Master Chief or Cole train in Killer Instinct. Thoughts?
