Serqet, spelled in a variety of ways over the thousands of years of the Egyptian pantheon, has nothing to do with secrets. Often selected as the patron of pharaohs like The Rock, she was the Egyptian goddess in charge of healing venomous stings and bites. Of which there were many in the dangerous wilds of North Africa. In this charge Serqet was depicted as a women with a scorpion on her head, or in the earliest stages of Egyptian rule, a scorpion."
